As the Web Developer, you will be the primary web site development resource for the www.bgn.org providing original Web page designs and content production services.
Responsibilities will include:
*Code and Database maintenance. *Work on existing Java/Java Script code. Resolve bugs and include additional features in the site. * Site Migration. Recommend an alternate host for JAVA/JavaSript/MySQL driven sites.
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent. * Excellent Java/JavaSript programmer. Knowledge of Best Coding Practices. * Has worked on Java/JavaScript-based and database intensive projects in the past. * Technical understanding of the following technologies: Java, SSH, Linux, TomCat, HTML, Perl, Flash, Photoshop, Apache, SQL.*JAVA Certification an advantage * 2+ years experience developing corporate Web design and production activities. * Able to work in fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * High enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to work on an innovative team. * Excellent trouble shooting skills to remedy complex coding problems. * Working knowledge of Adobe or Macromedia graphics applications. *Must be very patient.
